(a)Consideration of the claim filed by Attorney Pogue on behalf of Lt. William Perry pursuant to RIGL 45-15-5.
(b)Approval of School Department shared position pro-rated salaries for: Robert Houghtaling, Rose Emilio, and Linda Dykeman.
(c)Approval of the dismissal of a firefighter Lieutenant by the Town Manager pursuant to Charter Section C-019.2 (B); said dismissal is also pursuant to CBA Section 45-1.
(d)Appointment of David Black as Deputy Harbormaster pursuant to Town Charter Section C-85 (A)(E)(F)(P) and Town Code Chapter 128 and approval of setting the wage for the Harbormaster at $25.00/hour and the Deputy Harbormaster at $20.00/hour. 
(e)Authorization to allow Interim Fire Chief Robinson and Town Manager Corrigan to utilize Central Coventry Fire District's current firefighter hiring list as a shared service accommodation to fill open East Greenwich Fire Department vacancies that may arise from time to time. 
(f)Authorization/directive to Colonel Stephen Brown, Chief of Police, to jointly collaborate with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mercurio, in submitting the 2018 COPS Grant for School Violence Prevention Program ("SVPP"), this approval is such that it does not require further authorization from the Council in furtherance of the grant opportunity.

(a)Closed pursuant to RIGL 42-46-5 (a)(2), sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, specifically, to discuss the matter, East Greenwich v. IAFF Local 3328, KC 2017-1276.

Posted July 5, 2018 in accordance with RIGL 42-46-6 at EG Town Hall, EG Library, EG Town Website, Swift Community Center, and Secretary of State website. In the event of an overflow crowd, the meeting will be moved to Swift Community Center, 121 Peirce Street. Individuals requesting services for the hearing impaired must notify the Town Clerk's office at (401) 886-8604 via RI Relay #711 (800-745-5555 TTY) or in writing, at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date. Any person or persons conducting themselves in a disorderly manner are subject to removal per RIGL 45-3-19.
