3. Provide a brief description of the item and why it is on the agenda
   The resident of 70 Kenyon Ave. had placed a claim against the Town of East Greenwich to pay for vehicle damage resulting from snow plowing during the March 14, 2017.  The claim was approved for payment by the Town Council during the Council meeting of 9/11/2017 in the amount of $4,887.63.  The resident is now submitted another claim for damage to his property resulting from the same snow storm in the amount of $1,000.  This represents the deductible that was not covered by the resident's home owners insurance.
