   The federal government and the State of Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources are encouraging the use of electric vehicles with incentives to purchase or lease. The Town has applied for an additional State of Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) electric vehicle purchase incentive of $7,500. Expected final net cost of vehicle:  $19,500 - $7,500 = $12,000.
